“ GOALS CIC ” (Grants On All Levels of Sport, Community Interest Company) is a not for profit organisation set up to identify and secure funding for community groups involved in Sport and Recreation in the Newcastle area AT NO COST TO THE COMMUNITY GROUP.
Most clubs, organizations, or individuals involved in Sport and Leisure activities could benefit from securing anything from £50 to £10,000 for new equipment, to cover transport costs to an event, club insurance costs, etc etc etc, but they don’t know where, or how to get the money.
Once you do find out where the money or funding is – how do you get your hands on it and what do you have to do to get it ???
Goals CIC can find it, do the paperwork, attend any meetings, sort out bank accounts for clubs etc and any administration the club requires such as club constitutions or accounts etc.
How does GOALS CIC get paid?
Firstly we are a not for profit organization, but we do need to cover the costs of any salary and running expenses.
This is met by funding we get separately and we also build in to some applications a percentage for administration and consultation.
This way if a club gets funding for say £100 for new footballs, we will add £20 “admin” and consultancy fees making the total bid £120.00.
It also means if we are unsuccessful, you don’t get the funding and Goals CIC doesn’t get paid. Therefore, it’s very much in everyone’s interest that we do a good job.
In a lot of cases we can point you in the right direction and give you the information over the telephone for small grants or amounts of money which are easily accessed FREE without us getting involved. (See Our Services (top of page) and What to do Next pages)
